Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Tell me forever.

The memories do nothing but haunt her. The perfection of happiness and what use to be dancing before her eyes. As she relishes in the moments. She cannot help but re-live them. Hold onto them for dear life, as she struggles to piece everything back together. She is but a puzzle missing all the important pieces and she will never be whole again. It is then the darkness floods. The days in which she lost it all. Her siegos. Her children. Everything she had ever loved with such force it could crush her. Fold in on herself and disappear. The light once found in those pale eyes now but a simmer of it's true light. She is broken.

Everything has changed. No longer does she see familiar grounds. The land has grown. It has faced flood and all other disasters but still stands. It too has lost loved ones, souls that made it to what it is today; but yet it lives. No matter the damage it takes it still offers shelter and protection. A home. And that is why she has returned. Come back to the place that she once held dear. It is here she was made and it is here she will die. Moladion will always be a piece of her and she cannot deny the pull to these lands anymore. She has returned.

Feet tread lightly upon the earth. As she moves so slowly into it's depth. She is lost to design now, and all but wanders without care. Eyes lingering upon the landscape as they fall upon a sandy lake shore and it here she will stop. The sands shift beneath her, as old bones seem to protest of the unstable ground. A groan falls from her lips, as her body speaks of no more. Finally does she still, her long journey over now. For she is home. Legs give way as she eases down unto the sand. Letting her body glide against it, as chest exhales loudly. The darkness of night caves in on her and stills in but silence. There is nothing. So quiet and dark. Only the moon to welcome her home. And she cannot help the small smile that falls upon her lips.

Lost but yet again.

Time seems so still and ancient. As she stills beneath it. Her breaths slow and steady, the scents that pour in all but strange. But it comforts her, soothes the ache in her chest that seems to never end. One piece to her puzzle found and put in place. As now everything once known sinks in and takes her a stroll through memory lane.

Siegos. He is all but her heart now gone. One of the first she met upon this soil. He was everything to her, even with her imprint found. He still held all that she is. Never again would she feel that devotion as she did with him. They were but a fable. A pair not chosen by fate, but still they loved; so deep and pure. They were the first to claim each other, the first in but it all. And now she stands without him by her side, without the warmth and life he gave to her. She is lost without him, holding on to their memories as it were her last breath. Always.

Her children. Bacchus. Sekari. Saoirse. Ifrit. They are pieces of her heart. Forever swollen in her soul. She can still see them. The night she had welcomed them all into this world. Only to be told that her first born would not stay. She remembers crying for him, trying to bring him back. Bartering with the great moon to give back her son. But to no avail. And Siegos by her side grieving and yet demanding her to let him go. She knew her love meant well. She knew it was no use to care for him, when there before her lay three beautiful children; their children. And after much debate she let him go, but never too far he but a piece of her. In solitude she will tell him stories of his brother and sisters. And of his great father. And she still yet does. She reminds him as well as reminding herself. For their whereabouts are unknown to the old wolf. But their are rumors one still lives. Ifrit. Her only son now. She hears of him and dreams of what he has become. Of the lives he has created. For but wouldn't you know, she is a grandmother? At least so the stories she been told.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Eyes flutter but briefly as opens them back into this world. Memories now standing still as she rises from the hands of the grainy shore. Sitting now beneath the flow of moonlight. Her chest rising and falling rapidly as she cannot help the whimpers that scurry from her lips. As she mourns all over again for all she had. Head tilts to the almighty sphere as she sings her sad lullaby. Each note representing her loved ones, as it seems to glide in the wind carrying far out upon it's borders. It too seems to weep with her, for she but his child and he seeks to comfort her.

Tail now curls around her body as if she tries to hold herself together. As finally does her song of sadness end. Head now tucked to her chest as pale eyes watch the glistening lake shoreline. All is calm now, as if it has accepted her apologies. As she loses herself in the dark of night. For she just a face now in the crowd; left to tell her stories to the stars. But is all hope lost? Will someone hear her plea and come? This time she is unsure of anything but to breathe.

Save me now.
