At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

The white femme was washed away in a dream as the world faded away.

It was a beautiful, glorious day. There were three small pups chasing eachother around in a meadow. They knocked over poppies, daisies, roses and all sorts of things. One was a russet red color, the sun gleaming down on it making her look like she was on fire. A very small form. The next was a pitch black, darker than any night. Chasing after the two was a blonde pup, larger than the other two. They were near a cliff, waves lapping at the bottom of the cliff. It was a good one hundred or two hundred feet. Behind large bushes, right next to the edge of a cliff, stood a white, dainty pup. The icy blue eyes were filled with pain and anger, as she was casted out of her sibling's group. She planned to get revenge.

Her blue eyes lazily winked open and shut a few times, unsure if this was a dream or not. Her head felt woozy; perhaps she'd gotten a concussion. As she tried to lift her head up, a nuclear pain came upon her left face. Letting out a small gasp, her head lay back down on the snow.

You could see the pup step seemingly innocent. Every paw step she took, she curved her ankles so cutely. Standing smack dab in a clearing at the edge of the cliff, she yipped.

Fireosia, Nightasia, Nickimai, bet you can't catch me!

Her tongue lolled out of her mouth, forebody stooped low, rump high in the air. She smacked her paws on the ground, summoning the fiery female and the other two males. The three quickly ran towards her, flank by flank, eyes gleaming in determination. Two adults peeked their heads up out of a grove of poppies, ears perked. They smiled as they watched what would happen.

Skylight's eyes flittered open more quick this time, she was more awake. Slowly regaining her senses, she spotted the deranged male standing in front of her. Tiredly lifting herself slowly to her paws, she grunted. The pain had died down quite a bit in her left face, but it was definently still there

She drug herself a few feet over and plopped down on her rump.

W...what do you want from me?

She was exasperated of this. The femme just wanted to go, go and have a long, deep (not knocked out) sleep. She wanted to find her daughters. Her eyes widened in terror as her concious mind finished the dream.

The three reached the rock clearing where Skylight was. Skylight was the runt; the odd one. The female ran ahead of the brute's as Skylight backed up, right to the very edge of the cliff. The fiery red pup crouched her haunches, gathering all her potential energy.... and she sprang. Skylight jumped out of the way as the fire pup squealed the whole way down. Skylight heard a satisfying but faint splash as the pup hit the water. She grinned as her two brothers quickly followed. They too, made terrible noises the whole way down and then a splash. Their bodies quickly dunked underwater, never to be seen again. The brown brute and gray femme ran over, the mother sobbing. Skylight put an innocent look on her face, tears leaking out.

I...it was an accident! They missdd and fell!

The gray femme nuzzldd the girl, sobbing. Skylight let out a malicious grin. The three grieved the losses but quickly moved on, the tragedy marked as an accident.

The white femme watched the brute, waiting for him to speak up.
