Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Her gaze is ever even. Salem doesn’t bother with looking hardly at much of anyone, and maybe that’s what helps her out. Those obscure eyes are a sort of gentle as they rest on Venom. Yes, how good it was to know someone had made it. While the pale creature didn’t have any blood on her hands, it was nice to know someone who used to dwell in the caverns as she was still alive and well. The woman wished none of them ill—in reality, they’d been the closest thing to family her before had ever seen. It was interesting, it was lovely, and she’d fallen into the trap. Family now had a hold on her so tightly you wouldn’t believe. It was a notion she was obsessed with… it was a notion that served her well. Pan and Seven… family.

Venom doesn’t appear to have any venom, at least in her direction. The pale creature nods to the young man stiffly, watching with bright eyes. They hadn’t been too well acquainted, for she’d only been in Mirovis a short time before the disctruction, but he had been there none the less. He’s a refugee of the great before tripping through the time and space they had left. She was trying to make her way through the after and not screw up this time… maybe they weren’t so different. In reality, how many of them were so different.

The young woman nods softly as the boy speaks. “Jaye too lives on. I’ve been with a couple brothers… used to be Scotavians. I guess there aren’t any lines drawn when the sky falls.” She speaks lightly, trying not to necessarily make light of the situation… just deal with it. Everyone has a different way of just dealing with the situation, especially one like this. It hadn’t left anyone in particularly good sorts, the girl knew that. Hell, Salem knew a lot of things that she wasn’t so sure about.

Salem stretches up, paws finding an easy hold on some of the rocks. Invitation be damned, she’s coming up to greet Venom face to face. Her tail swings easily behind her pale body as she scales the rock face. It’s something that she’s gotten used to. The crater itself was steep and rocky, she’d have to get used to it sooner or later. The creature was decently used to improvising, and it was doing her quite well now. There was an odd grace, a strange cunning that came to her feet as she clawed herself up. Yes, it was Salem that knew what she was doing.

The young lady was always looking over her shoulder now. God forbid the boys let her out of their sight for a little while. It was why her wanderings were generally at night now, long after they were asleep. They worried more than what was necessary. “No… just seeing if there’s anyone out there. I still wonder, y’know?” Always searching, eyes always wandering. Salem couldn’t really hold her head in one place for too long. It was then that she overthought things, that she got so… so sad. Sad didn’t fit the girl well. “What are you doing up here, Venom?” The words are gentle, come with a tilt of her head. Today, Salem lacks an edge.
