At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Nisha was new to Blossom Forest. That was about the most honest thing to say about her. No one was saying she lied, but she really didn't have any past she could remember. At a young age, Nisha was about one of the most playful pups on the planet. One day, she was playing a game with her brothers and sisters when, she just didn't remember anything about that life. Let's get one thing straight: Nisha does not suffer from short term memory loss; nope that is not it. She just blacked out for some reason, and didn't know who anybody was. She still knew how to do everything and the pathways around her home, but the wolves she knew did not ring any bell in her head. A mystery. She had to learn about the wolves she lived around after that, but didn't have the same connection as she did before. Oh well. Her family is now dead so, is there really any loss?

Nisha trotted through the dense forest, her creamy pelt standing out against the brown and green of nature. The only thing that really fit into the terrain was her legs, with splotches of black everywhere and covering most of the cream. She hardly even remembered the scar that ran down her left leg. It was jagged, felt weird, and you could see it from at least ten feet away, but Nisha never even knew how, or why, she got it. Maybe because of her blackout, who knows? Nisha stepped over the rocks and continued on her way. Before she got any farther, she heard the sound of water, running swiftly over the rocks. Why not a drink and the chance to catch a snack? She placed her paws carefully into the direction of this beautiful sound. A tree branch snagged on her pelt, but it only caught fur. She broke through the trees and smiled at the little stream. She reached her head down to it, and lapped up the liquid; she was not surprised when she found that it tasted so pure. She shook her pelt, some flackes of bramble falling off of her creamy pelt, and only then did she lay down.

The birds chirped around her, and the forest seemed to almost come alive. However, something felt....odd. Nisha had no idea what it was, but she felt it in her gut that something was wrong. It was more of a situation than the place, believe it or not. She stood again and walked a little ways up the falls, but nothing seemed out of place. She shrugged, and then dipped down back to the water. She shuttered back when she saw the hint of blood. She raised her head again, and took a deep breath again, scenting blood coming from up the river. She trotted up there, and saw a brute laying by the water and practically spilling his guts out for anything that wanted a feast. She ran forward; seeing that this wolf was unconscious. "Dear me," she muttered. Quickly looking around, she saw some beetles that she knew could stitch up this brute. Picking them up carefully, her placed them on the brute, and waited for them to do their thing. She layed by the water, and splashed some of it onto the wolf's face. Maybe, just maybe, he would wake once more.
