Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Magice was transfixed by the view from the mountain. She felt like she was far far away, an outsider to the world below, simply watching life pass her by as she sat close to the clouds, surrounded by mist. She was so intent on trying to find the specks that were her family that she jumped when a voice spoke close by.
She looked around, finally spying a russet-colored brute standing on the ledge. He had an air of confidence about him that made him interesting to Magice. Noticing that no other wolf was around, she had to conclude that he was talking to her.
"Journey? What journey? I flew up here." She joked, effectively widening her blue gaze so she looked surprised.
"Of course. What's there not to like?" She asked rhetorrically.
She liked talking to this brute, whoever he was. There was a lot to be said for bonding over the view of the whole forest.
"If you have friends to watch." She pointed out, trying not to show that she had none. She wondered how he could tell which dots were who. She certainly couldn't.
"I'm so glad you don't think I'm annoying. In the minutes we've been talking, its definitely something you learn quickly." She said, her eyes laughing as she teased him.
"So what do they call you?" She asked, fluffing up her thick black fur against the cold.
"I'm Magice."
