At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Kaidren smiled and nodded. Indeed she did love rabbits meat. But chicken? That confused her a little. Yes, she did have chicken but it didn't taste like rabbit. Not to her at least. She tilted her head. I think the chicken I've had is slightly different from yours. The chicken I used to eat was when I was with my family, we used to pick off a few from the farm outside of the forest. He came from Ireland. The kind of chicken must have been different. Then she prossesed what she had just said to him through her head. Why did she bring her family up? That would just make things worse. When she closed her eyes, she could faintly smell the smoke. She sighed quietly and opene a them. She stared into the cold water by her feet.
