I liked Sonny and Anna Posted on January 23, 2013 at 12:12:52 PM by tango
BTW, wasn't it Norma (gloria's sister) that was the writer, and I thought the two of them collaborated on the character, but FH really made Anna in who she turned out to be (vs. an american blonde bombshell).
Loved the Anna/Sonny scene, first she had a good reason to call him into her office, that wasn't contrive. Secondly, they played off of Robin/sonny's history, and since Anna is Robin's mother it does make sense that Anna would have some sort of natural bond with him. Personally I'm hoping for a Sonny/Anna story where they work together to take down (i know, this is a bit cliche) another of Sonny's myriad of enemies. Enter Ted King.
Or maybe Duke will end up dead for real (third time is the charm) and Sonny is the suspect, but Anna believes him and they work to find the true killer. Don't believe they are going to kill off Duke, so I doubt this story would happen, but I use it as an example of Sonny/Anna working together.
FH needs to be in real relationships with contract players, Robert isn't on contract, neither is IB. And now with Laura and Scotty back and into Luke's story, I think moving FH over to Sonny's side of the canvas makes total sense and would give FH a great story. Replies:
