On August 15th,2011 my wife and I saw a mountain lion at Brimfield State Forest at Dean Pond. The animal was in some reeds, probably looking for a beaver as some have lived there. It looked about 3/4 grown at that time. I wonder about the Monson MA sighting and if this could be the same animal. I have since talked with several people who have seen them, one was in Hampden MA. There is no question they are around in spite of Fish and Game.
