The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed about the meeting ending so suddenly. There was so much ruckus, so much tension and then everyone up and went their seperate ways. I'm a viking, a warrior, used to the turmoil of emotions. It excites me, exhilerates me. It's what fuels me. I left the meeting feeling restless and unsatisfied, my adrenaline on an all time high and no way to use it. so I did what any sane vampire would do, I went on a hunt. I tracked down a fair haired female near Romance River, a real looker, and I manipulated her into sharing her den with me for the night. She was a loner so I didn't have to be invited into a pack land. We snuggled close and just as she was dozing off, I crushed her windpipe and watched her choke on her own blood. It was a very romantic evening.

I drained her and left her in the den to rot, making my way back to Andere but it still didn't feel right. I was still restless. Maybe I should have picked a butchy girl instead or a muscle freak, someone who would give me a challenge, some way to expend my energy. When I noticed a mated pair arguing, I couldn't help myself so I sauntered in, cozying up to the female. Of course, neither liked this idea so when the male stepped up, I stepped back, eyes daring him to make a move. And he did. He dove for my neck, a cheap move, and I launched up, letting him have my shoulder instead as I pushed into him, knocking him off balance. Once on top of him, I grabbed his chest and tore, shaking my head, goring him from the inside out. His mate started snarling and yelping, screaming for help, begging me to stop. I only stopped when he quit struggling. He passed out from blood loss so I stepped back, licking my lips. The mate rushed in, mauling him with kisses, telling him everything's going to be okay. I actually felt sick to my stomach at the sight.

So I turned my back and walked away. I took the precaution of rinsing my coat off in the nearest stream, knowing that the mate wouldn't come after me. She will stay with her mate till the end. That's what they do, right? Of course, she could always get angry later and get a group of rogues to hunt me down but by then, I'll be safe and sound inside Andere. I step over the invisible line, more sure of myself and at least a little less restless. I lick my lips, reminded again of the blood lust but I push it back. It has no room here. I put on my controlled face, my mask, the one I've worn for centuries. A familiar scent dances in my nostrils, an enticing perfume. I follow it, knowing that I'll find the snow and blood colored female, the newest alpha of Andere Siete. I do manage to seek her out, finding her lying on the grass, her head on her paws. Her eyes are closed but her form is too tense, her breathing too shallow. She should know better than to try to trick a trickster.

I come around from behind, taking a seat a few feet from her figure. I clear my throat and watch her, eyes roaming hungrily over her silhouette. I spy with my little eye, a damsel with a death wish. You dare to con a con man? I fear to tell you that you're as helpless as you are foolish. My lips quirk back, revealing one fang, a tease, if you will.
