The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

As she had felt, there was another presence approaching her. However, this one was by far less...not threatening because only a fool would say such a thing about Eric, but she could safely tell herself that she found his presence to be comforting. She knew her "trick" hadn't been set properly, at least not if she had truly wanted to catch someone unawares. As Eric had probably noticed, she had been tense. If it had been Quirino who shuffled out of the near by brush, Cade would have regretted it sorely had she been limp in a well set trap. As much as tried to deny it, Qui was much larger than her in size and when he was given an advantage, well, they had been trained to hold any advantage they were given. Trivial sibling spats differed very little from an actual fight save for the fact that they didn't draw blood from each other...usually. Pushing herself up into a sitting position, Cade turned her brown and green gaze upon the wolf she had come to trust as a friend, even if the brute himself probably wouldn't agree with the term. Planting a look of indifference on her face, she offered him a retort, jabbing right back at him in a playful manner with her words.

"Says the vampire who showed mercy to a naive teen, only to join her ranks when she took up the throne. It seems unlikely you would support someone who is as you put it, 'helpless and foolish.' I may not best you in strength but I can certainly play your word games, friend."

The last word was uttered with a hint of sarcasm, tainted by the slight truth she felt with its utterance. She offered him a devilish grin before standing up and stretching. Sauntering over to him, she dared to rub along his frame, tickling his nose with her tail and instilling the scent of Andere's lands on him. He smelled of other places and a hint of jealousy crept into her thoughts. She didn't care what he did so long as he came home after. It was not lost on her that he had to travel to feed and she did appreciate that he didn't snack on the other inhabitants of the pack, despite her nagging feelings that they probably should have dispatched with the family of vampires. Whether she would regret her choice to let them live was yet unknown to her, but she took it for granted that Eric would stand by her side should she need to demolish them. After all, he was over here bragging to her about his strength and she knew full well that he would chop off her ass and hand it to her if the whim ever struck him. Making it full around him and careful to flinch away from whatever reactions he had for her possessive little attempt to aggravate him, she finished in front of him and coyly asked,

"If I'm the damsel, what does that make you? If you say you're the knight, I'll disown you."

She finished with an appraising stare, a playful glint in her eye. Her mood had taken a drastic turn for the better, having forgotten the troublesome duties of an alpha upon Eric's arrival.
