Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

restless: i found your weakness

Vague had always been her warrior - even from day one, he'd been hers. She had chosen him out from all the other wolves of Moladion and look how far they had come together - truly it was admirable. They had been through so much, collectively, and yet they had survived the greatest disaster to ever fall upon Moladion. They had lost much, too, and whereas Ruvindra had chosen to break through of restraints... it seemed Vague had done the opposite. He had buried himself within his own mind; he had drowned himself in a sea of despair and as much as she had tried to pull him from it... ultimately, she had failed as such too. So much failure had taken its toll upon her. She had failed Mirovis - Trenus - herself - her family - her children - and now? She had failed her mate; she had failed the one wolf who had voluntarily stayed alongside her. He'd never needed forgiveness, not in her eyes, and indeed it was she that required it. Had she ever been an Angel then surely she had fallen and borrowed herself into hell.

Still, she watched as she always did; each and every minute twitch of his muscles. Slowly her head tilted, forehead frowning in concentration and concern as he swayed momentarily. He sat, seemingly forced down by some foreign force and she could not help but slide forward a step or two closer, sniffing wearily at him in search of sign of illness or injury. There had been none, however, and for that she retracted with a light huff and shake of her head. If he had not been sick, then why had he seemed so?

"My love," she cooed, sliding forward once more and coiling her long body around his own, resting her head lightly atop his shoulder, "Are you feeling okay? I feel a difference within you. Have you eaten bad meat lately? I can hunt for you, if you wish."

It is a simple offer of service - a small token of her gratitude and yet in her eyes, it had always been the small things that amounted to the great things. She had never been an overly affectionate lover; she had not swooned and swayed about under some spell, but she had always provided. She had raised their children, she had dug them dens and chased foxes away in the dead of night - she had hunted, protected and wormed her way through their world for their safety. She had stood up to the two strongest Alphas of their time to guard him - at one point, she had stood up to Jaidah though she now stood beside her. It was strange how things changed and yet, the one thing that would not change was her devotion. Even as her madness chewed at her mind, she clung to Vague and hovered about him like an illness in herself.

Again, she reached out to lick his jaw, nuzzling into him lightly though her gaze flickered out over the plateaus. Yes, she would hunt for him. She would bring him to strength - they both would become strong once more, and then when the time was right... they would take the world like a storm. They would be the new red star to fall upon each and every soul. Such an idea brought a wicked smile to her features, toothy and yet stunning as she returned to her displays of affection - grooming and tending to her mate.

"I have failed you more than once, but never again," she whispered coolly to him once more, unfaltering in her repetitive tasks.
