Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

As the moon shone down upon her mate Dusk couldn't help but notice how handsome he was standing upon the large rock. It was like gazing upon a star the way he shone and Dusk could not take her eyes from him. Then in a single bound he was upon her, his fur blending with hers and their eyes meeting, never leaving each other. Two wolves madly in love with each other and never dreaming of leaving the other's side. That is what had become of Dusk and Sulan and neither would change it for the world. Paws wrapped the dark female into a hug and Dusk fell into it with ease. Sulan held her there and it was like she had been made for this spot. He spoke, his voice like summer time honey, and Dusk smiled. "I have missed you too. I always want to be by your side, Sulan." she whispered back as he licked her cheek fondly. Then he told her to listen. Close her eyes and listen. Dusk's green eyes gazed at Sulan suspiciously for a moment before she closed them and pulled her ears forward. At first, all she could hear was the pitter patter of tiny feet as the night time animals of the forest scurried this way and that. But as she continued to listen she could hear the faintest sound of a small waterfall coming from somewhere within in the rocks. Dusk opened her eyes and smiled at Sulan, "I can hear it. It sounds so peaceful."

He beckoned his mate to follow and like a loyal wolf, Dusk followed without question. She trusted Sulan more than any other wolf and she knew he would never lead her astray. Like a beacon in the darkness, Sulan would always be there to guide her. He moved over the rocks and ledge with ease, as if he had been her many times before until he had taken them to a cliff face. Dusk cocked her head to the side and gasped as he faded into the rock. She moved and saw that there was a small cave hidden in plain sight, protected from any unworthy to share its secrets. With a giggle, Dusk followed Sulan. At first the tunnel was a tight squeeze but it gave way the further in they travelled until at last, Dusk stood in a little piece of paradise. A small squeak left her mouth as she stood gaping at the pure beauty of the cavern Sulan had found. The water shimmered like crystal in the moonlight as the small waterfall rippled the surface. The worries, pain, and fear of the world outside faded away and Dusk knew that she was happy again after so long.

"Sulan. It's...it's so beautiful! How did you find this place?" Dusk asked. Little did she know that her happiness was only just beginning. Sulan motioned for her to lie upon a bed of purple flowers and it was all she could do to keep the tears from falling down her cheeks. A lump caught in her throat as she padded over to her beloved mate and licked his cheek with tender love. Dusk nuzzled him gently as a few tears escaped her eyes and dripped on to his fur. Then she laid down upon the purple flowers, their scent filling her nose. The purple color seemed to make her dark fur and green eyes glow as she stared up at Sulan. "What did I do to deserve a mate like you? Thank you, Sulan. Never have I seen such beauty. This will be our paradise, just the two of us. Our little heaven. Lay with me, Sulan. I have missed you so much."
