Questions upon questions loitered within the salt and pepper male's mind; What was he doing? Where was he going? There was nothing left for him anywhere, but why? Why did two of his family members have to die within the same week? A low whimper escaped into the cool, crisp atmosphere as the wolf faced the next day of his grievance. Greif. It's something that the hessian has never felt; has never been so damn pathetic in his life. Topaz luminaries scanned the perimeter of the clearing around him, one side being cut off by the shadows of the dense forest, while the opposite of it continued on with no trees in sight, but rolling hills. Peaceful. That's what it would have been if he hadn't turned his direction towards the depths of darkness within the treeline.

There was no destination, but with each stride he grew farther and farther into the trees, winding through them as though he were a pro. Once again, Calix shook his cranium back in forth to try to lose the memories that filtered in and out of his brain. The ivory facade of Clover's beautifully chiseled features flashed before his eyes-His practical sister. His little sister he never had. Calix didn't know how she had died, but all he knew was she was gone. And she had left at the same time he was away with his dying mother. The ivory and onyx brute had been there for his mother's last breath, and it took a toll out of his happy emotions almost immediatly.

Comfort. The only solace Calix seeked was the sincere condolences from anyone-A friend. Someone who cared. Clover. But she wasn't there when she needed him. The idea of remaining in the packlands of Andere Siete where her stail scent would remain and remind him of his devestating memories was too much to handle, and with that he had left. Leaving everything behind.. Or at least attempting to. He could hear the sound of close rushing water, but it faded immediatly when her face flashed in front of his oculurs. His mother's last breath replayed in his devestated mind. Without registering what was happening, his body slammed into a tree, his shoulder scraping the bark, drawing blood. 'Oooof!' The breath washed away from his lungs, and he collapsed with a whimper, his paws moving to shield his eyes from the outside world as if he were a pup. Little did he know, that he was only feet away from a vixen who had taken a nap on the opposite side of the peaceful tree- How embarressing it would be if she woke up and found a grown male nearly into tears. Once again: Pathetic.
