appearance: Foxtail is rather slimly built despite her height, standing at about 38 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She technically has a black summer coat, but with strong undertones of red, often giving her a brownish or rusty appearance in the summer time. Her chin, jaw, neck, and underbelly are a creamy white and stand out against her darker body. She was named for her tail, which is almost entirely red but for the white tip. Her fur is relatively short and wiry, though during winter she grows an extremely fluffy red winter coat, and since most of her under hair is reddish (as opposed to her mostly black summer coat) she gets much paler in the winter months, and looks startlingly fox-like. Her legs remain black regardless of the season, as do the rims of her ears.
personality: foxtail used to be a playful young wolf, as mischievous as her animal namesake. Since the death of her sister though, Foxtail has become very withdrawn and rarely, if ever, speaks.
history: foxtail and her littermate, bramble, left their home pack at three years old, wanting to see more of the world than their mountainous homeland. While travelling, they came across Tybalt, who immediately imprinted on Bramble. They were a happy (well, Tybalt and Bramble were happy) little pack until Bramble died of pregnancy complications, leaving Foxtail devastated.
