The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

You know, they say this place is creepy, that it's haunted, that some terrible beast lives here. Actually, I think it's a good place to think. I come here now, my mind a whirl of activity. It seems like only yesterday I danced with Kohaku at the river. It was an intricate pattern but I loved every minute of it. Who'd have thought this clumsy fool could dance? I laugh to myself as I reach the darkness of the cavern. I stand outside the entrance for a moment, considering. Tilting my head, I run my bright blue gaze over the outside of the entrance, memorizing the vines running up the sides, the rugged edges of the rocks that form the entrance. I've come to this place since I was old enough to walk. It seemed to draw me. I came here to explore, to find treasure, to find the mythical monster. In the end, I found only darkness and peace.

Now I come to think on the last words Kohaku told me before she skirted away on fairy wings. She told me that I already have something. Her heart? Her affection? She sure has a strange way of showing it. Then again, Kohaku herself is a strange girl and that's what drew me to her in the first place. She's not so straight forward about things but in the end, she has a way of getting her point across. She's dangerous and deadly, beautiful and mysterious, domineering and yet shy. There are still so many things I'd like to learn about her but I feel like I'm reaching for straws.

I finally venture forward toward the entrance, letting the darkness engulf my black coat as I step into the shadows. Instantly I feel peaceful and soothed, letting a contented sigh drip from my lips. I keep on going until I feel like I'm far enough in. Then I sit down, letting the dark silence surround me. Closing my eyes, I see what I see with my eyes open, black. Sighing again, I start humming, slow at first until I pick up a rhythm, then it gets a little quicker. The melody vibrates on the walls around me, making a rhythm all its own. I found this trick when I was young. I started yelling and it would echo back at me. Intrigued rather than scared, I started talking to the walls and listening as they talked back. Then I started humming and it hummed with me, a beautiful orchestra of sound. And so I hum, slow and then fast, keeping a tune as if its second nature. The walls hum with me and all is peaceful. Who would dare to interrupt?
