Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Lying near the water, Zain starting thinking. Thinking about things he hadn't thought about in some time. What would his life of been like if he hadn't left his initial pack? Would he be as content and happy with his life as he is now? Of course, his contentedness only came from his searching for more information. If he was tied up in his birth pack forever, he wouldn't have experienced the things he has. He probably would have been considered an 'inspiration' to younger wolves in the pack. But that was something Zain would have had a strong distaste for.

If a wolf were to look up to anyone, Zain should be the last on this list. He was conceited more often than not, and would rather not get involved in other people's issues. The only time a glimmer of good came through him, was when part of something. Whether he was with close friends or even a pack, he had loyalty down to a science. The way he looks at it, if someone trusts you, then you never leave them. Trust is one of the most important things in Zain's life, and he'd never take it for granted.

He felt himself doze off for a moment and shook himself to keep from falling asleep. When he did so, the scent of another clouded his senses. He peeked out through his dark lids to get a glimpse of who was there. It was a female, that he could tell by scent alone. She was larger than him, of course. He pretended as though he didn't see her and closed his eyes again. Though he appeared calm, his muscles instinctively tightened just in case.

His ear twitched when her voice was first heard. It was an unknown tongue to him so he made no attempt to translate the few words she said. When she spoke in a readable language, he felt his lip twitch in slight amusement. He was going to laugh in her face, so he didn't let out so much as an amused huff. "I am enjoying the sound from the waterfall. Some find this noise quite enjoyable. You don't?" He lifted up and sat on his haunches. When he actually looked at her, he realized that his size was actually laughable compared to hers. But he didn't mind much. Being small suited him just fine.
