It was such a liberating feeling. Pawsteps tread light and even across the terrain, velvet pads learning the Earth. Feeling the pulse of the hard mountain stone vibrating with replenished vitality. The scars of the past were still visible in the scored faces of the mineral ore, and yet the soil proved more fertile then ever before. Lush greenery was slowly relcaiming the wide open spaces, and though Spirane was a mountain dwarfed by the former majesty that had been Solevion... It was already beginning to feel like Home. I could not have felt more proud then I had in that moment; that moment when my Imprint and my Sons were at my side. The blood of my Heritage not only flowing through them but within the heart of my Sister Gailene as well. She possessed our Mother's strength and her Father's Willpower, and I was glad to have her support and guidance. But even Greater still, the Legacies of our Ancestors proved to be flourishing in the Spirit and Aspirations of those of us that have survived. I held the utmost confidence that within our new Sanctuary, we would flourish and prosper. Many new faces had joined those that I am familiar with; and I am eager to get to know each and every one of them. Sleekwing has surprised me, bringing hope the young, bright eyed girl Calista. It made my heart skip a beat, watching their young love blossom alongside the springtime flowers. It is most pleasing to see She, along with Zildjian, Amaterasu, and Scarlet have integrated with us. Cherubs all, descended of the Angelic Order of Trenus... And then there was Risk, for whom my pale Spirit Guide had so long ago had found worthy of gifting one of her divine feathers to. He had been only a boy then, but now he was a Man Grown and by all accounts a fine and honorable warrior. I could not wait to see what his potential would evolve into amidst our new pack. Camelot, Bark and Whimper were all welcomed faces, pieces of my Heart that I cherished even more dearly because they were the very staples of my Upbringing. Faces known to me since cubhood. And finally Siegos. I knew next to nothing of the mature Wolf, but he had seemed admirable enough, and his Aura radiated a vivid royal jewel tone that whispered of his noble intentions. I would welcome all who sought sanctuary into my new Kingdom. Trodding up to a ledge that offered a panoramic view of the topagraphy sprawling out into the horizon, I let out a soft sigh, smiling a radiant expression of Satisfaction. A sense of triumph, of jubilation, overwhelms me and I let the emotion grow until it burst from my lungs in a joyous crescendo of sound. A melody of glory and prevailance and blessings for the New Beginnings, Singing for the Pure Thrill of doing so.
