Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Zev continued to walk with Sierra, and he felt the night starting to end. They walked in silence for a little while, and he felt completely safe with the fae. He knew she would not challenge him at all unless in a playful way. He smiled at the thought of joining a pack, but perhaps maybe it was too soon to get so comfortable with a stranger. He almost felt it coming when she back-peddled on the decision. He listened quietly to her words, and respected them all the way. He was glad that she said it and that he didn't have to find out that he made a mistake. He trusted her, but what if something happened or whatever? She was already running and pushing her little body out a very small hole when he said, "I totally respect that." He sat there silently, waiting in case she desired to come back, but she didn't and he knew that it was almost the right thing to do. He believed that she would return and find him, and he knew that she would. He thought about her running far off into the distance, and as if by response, he headed back the other way to the entrance where he found her. The sounds of his footsteps echoed in the cavern, and his scent only lingered as he walked farther and farther away from the mouth of the cave, and the rays of the dawn were just beginning to peek behind the clouds.
