Her face lights up and in reaction Yojimbo's softens, he could feel himself melt at her own small happiness for saying his name to her satisfaction. The brightness of her face flows over in a soft wave, and he felt a pull of his tail to wave itself. His wag could not be stopped, though it was not wild and untamed like he felt it to be, instead it was calmly exploring the air around it. And yet this look did not linger long on her lovely face. Thought from his question caused her eyes to flicker, and he can only watch as she contemplates. He could feel the power of her thoughts through their bond, how this was not a thing she was used to but yet, Yojimbo himself was not familiar with this strange new sensation, strange and yet so perfect, extraordinary yet normal. The universe revolves around her and time was a non-issue, and he was almost surprised by even her slightest of whisper, feeling the word that carried through the air, so soft and subtle but he knew what he heard. 'Mine'. Yes, he was hers, from the beginning of time he was hers though he did not know or realize it. He had to see her with his own blue eyes, to drink her up and throw himself at her for it to be announced by the fates, the earth, the stars, all. She says it again, her ears perking towards her. If she felt the need to say it so be it, he enjoyed the fact that she acknowledged with a simple word their union, him becoming hers. He gave a sight nod, but that was not all. He knew by the look on her face that she had more to say, and her words brought a smile to his black lips. The North Star, the star that he knew very well, one that had many names and though Yojimbo did not think of his stars in terms of names he knew what she meant. This star never moved, it was the constant in a cycling sky. He could find his way back to his homeland in part because of this star, being a creature of the night for most of the time. He was aware of the sun's relation to it all as well, his sense of direction was excellent. To be called her North Star held a meaning deep, it held implications that brought a tingle to his skin, that he was going to be a comfort, a constant in the sky of her life. "Yes," he whispered, so softly that he didn't even know if he really said it at all. She calls him her mate, so quickly and suddenly it comes to his ears and seeps into his soul. She had already said it and he had already accepted what she wished of him, but it didn't hurt to keep hearing it. It was music to his ears, a music that was welcomed in his rather silent life. Her nips brings a bliss, a wonderful feeling to fill him up, a tug of longing before she pulls away. He felt compelled to follow her almost instantly. He had never felt such a strong urge to protect another in his life. He stood still, almost in a shock from the whole situation. He didn't want to violate her personal space though, out of respect, and he was left with his lingering blue eyes, lost in a sea of green, attracted to the slightest hint of red. Yes, she had been working on a den, he had almost forgotten as he got lost in the pull of her soul. He tilts his head gently to one side, staring with great intensity until she quickly popped her head out once again. This made his already wagging tail wag even faster, his whole body perking with an excitement he wasn't accustom to. He whines softly, a whine of joy as she offers to share her space with him. He could feel her wish to show him what she had been working on, and he yipped, jumping forward in a playful manner, something completely out of his character. His demeanor was normally calm, collected and at a still peace, but she was here. She changed everything. The dark male pounced his way to the mouth of the den, wishing to give her an affectionate lick on the nose before following her into the heavenly home.
