He watches the female as she speaks, his blue and cream eyes locking with her yellow ones. His ears flick slightly as if picking up the slight stress in her voice from the lie she told him, “Herzeh hmm?” he questions her as he slowly paces around her looking her over from all angles. His lips tug lightly as he fights a smile from forming, “I am Balthar.” He says his voice dropping low as he returns to the front of her. Yes he’s cocky, but his history gives him the right to be, many strong males have fallen beneath him tooth and claw, all fights to the death, so yes, he is cocky and for good reason.
“I was ambushed by a rogue pack, the cougar was only a meal…” he smirks again lip curling a bit as he speaks his tail flicking slowly as he notices her reluctance to smile, hoping to break the female’s composure and get into her head without her knowing, his usual method of dominance when tooth and claw shouldn’t be the first act.
