Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

restless: i found your weakness

You would have been paranoid too had you stood on the toes of a wolf with more loyal killers than toes. It was not even for her own safety that she fretted for but rather the safety of Vague - of her children - and those that had sworn their allegiance to her. Wasn't a good Queen supposed to worry for their pack? To fight and struggle for their safety? She was a good Queen - she had to believe so, and for that reason alone she would fight and push until she was sure those under her care were safe. Was the safety of her pack too much to ask for? Could Heyel not even afford her that last favor despite it all?

His question of the crater neither startled nor surprised her, though her brow raised up in both query and expectation. For some time, she simply watched him through a furrowed brow and narrowed eyes before breaking out into a light and airy chuckle. Such an accusation and yet it seemed his eyes had failed him, or at least the eyes of his young and obviously misguided apprentices. It was all in the fine details, you see, fine details that many often seemed to forget. She had been tempted on so many occasions to kill - to simply pluck the young one's away from their mother's teat and slaughter them - but she had resisted. She had bothered them - she had bared her teeth and scared them all away - but she had not killed. She had pruned the dead, she had cleaned them and she had shown the living to Fatality but her teeth were, so to say, clean.

Allowing her chuckle to trail off, she cleared her throat before holding out on of her paws, allowing it to dangle loosely from her ankle. With raised brows, she motioned towards it with her muzzle - take a look, Heyel.

"I cleaned them, Heyel, I cleaned the blood from their pelt as any good mother would. They were slaughtered - taken from their mothers, but not by I," she began, features falling flat and brows once more furrowing, lip twitching ever so slightly, "They would be found, undoubtedly, and I did not wish for them to be found maimed and desecrated. As far as my company goes; is it not Tobias that your daughter has settled for? Will you kill her for consorting with demon-kind? If these are the games you Assassins play, then perhaps I would suggest keeping an eye on her."

She raised a brow, her features sliding up into a subtle grin - it was no threat. If she had it her way, indeed, both Aaliyah and Tobias would reside within Iromar's depths - but a distraction, once more, another thought to ponder.

"Your Assassins - your eyes, as you say - may one day turn a blind one to you, and seek her out," she finally lowered her paw, tucking it beneath her brush-like tail and meeting his gaze levelly, "When it comes to me, however, you are wrong. I have not eaten the flesh of our own kind, but I cannot keep that promise if your Assassins dare seek me out. I am telling you now, Heyel, that I will kill and devour the very soul of each and every one you send for me or those beneath my protection. Until you have proof of my apparent transgressions - then I am safe."

With that, she motioned to stand, her body lifting gracefully and legs stretching out beneath her. With a sudden flick of a switch, her features lit up once more into a broad, kind grin and she leaned in just an inch or two closer before she continued.

"When there is evidence, then and only then can you seek me out, yes?"
