Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Well, she wasn't in the trees. A black brow arched curiously as icy blue eyes scanned the dusted terrain slowly, mind turning over what possibilities there were. There were many, actually. Too many. Chances were, she was cheating. Even if only a little bit, it would be like her to do something small and silly, just enough to throw him of her tail. But what was it? Teleportation? No, the scent trail would have ended abruptly, not faded off... The drifts alone had probably just brushed away her smell. He had that feeling, though, that she was still nearby.

Black Rain shoved his nose back to the ground and began snuffling around. He started in a small circle and spiraled outward, steps quick to make up for his stalling time. The hulking wolf gave a sneeze to clear his nose, the refreshed channels picking up the smell once more as his spiral took up a rise. Large black paws picked up the pace to a bouncy jog, nose still plastered to the ground as he trekked up toward the ridge. The brute stopped suddenly, that eerie feeling of being watched creeping up on him and causing his fur to rise just slightly.

Icy blues looked up, a smirk tinting his maw as the wolf caught sight of a dabble of red amidst the white and gray mountainside. Oh, she was good� but he already knew that. And if she could cheat, so could he. The mammoth wolf vanished in a flurry of black feathers only to reappear at the white and red fem�s side silently. He fixed her with a critical stare, head tilted to the side as he observed her new colors.

�Nope,� Black Rain said loudly after a few seconds, shaking his head from side to side. �Totally not you.� The large black brute chuckled softly, tail giving a wag at his own sarcasm.
