Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

When I felt her the first time, I flew
I told him it was already to late

The race for packs had begun and ended with both him and Aella homeless still. It may have been impossible for him to be unhappy with her besides him but he could still be unhappy about their lack of a home. Realistically he knew that finding one suitable to his mate’s inclinations should be his top priority but he had thus far put it off. Shuffling around the packs for a while he had scouted them out – almost instantly ruling out Iromar. Of course if Aella said she wanted to stay in the free lands then Ryne would do that.

He follows her scent now through them now. His dark gray and black saddled frame moving through the western part of the crater with ease as he slowly grows closer to her. Ryne almost doesn’t even need to follow her scent although he keeps his head low and nose towards the ground anyways. The bond they shared was more than enough for him to find her from almost anywhere but following a trail never hurt.

Today she has led him west. The same place he had gone when the want to be alphas sent up their cries for wolves who would follow. Aella doesn’t know. He hadn’t told her – not wanting her to get her hopes up if something were to fall through. And it did – unfortunately for them – but Ryne wasn’t thrown yet. Nothing could taint this second life so long as Aella remained in it with him.

When his dark green eyes land on his imprint a smile – the likes of which no one else can bring – lights up his face making his usually dark eyes sparkle a lighter color. Wagging his dark ash gray tail Rynes large form pads over to his imprints tiny one a smile still beaming on his face. He can remember when he was almost her size – he was two, she a year older and he’d failed to reach his full height yet. Even then with them almost even in size she had seemed fragile to him - a precious object that had to and deserved to be treated with the utmost care.

Aella looks so peaceful and serene laying in her soft bed of grasses that Ryne almost doesn’t want to disturb her. And yet the urge to touch her, to lie next to her and drink her intoxicating closeness, is almost unbearable. He curls his large frame around her small damp gray body – his head lying next to her – and licks her muzzle. “Did you have a good day, beautiful?”
