Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

He returned her smile with his own - broad and rogue-ish with a cocked brow. She hadn't even needed to say a word for her actions spoke much, much louder; she had never partaken in the strange ritual of swimming! He chuckled lightly once more, shaking his head slowly as she spoke. Couldn't believe she was about to do it? Hah! Coming from her, it seemed almost crazy; the girl would dive into battles and serve her King with every part of her soul and yet, she found swimming hard to believe? Really, she was something special - something very, very different to the others.

"Trust me, Bel, you're going to do great," he chuckled, nudging her shoulder playfully as she began her descent into the water. Things seemed to go smoothly for some time and she bounced off into the deeper waters; he followed, his paws steady on the stones beneath them. He didn't want to be that guy but, well, he'd told her so! Besides from a good hunt, meal and warm den - swimming was probably one of the best things a wolf could do.

He'd gone to splash her with a paw, to cause her some kind of chaos and yet, before he had even gotten the chance, she suddenly dropped from view. As if the water had swallowed her up - she was simply gone in a flurry of bubbles and splashing. Panic flooded him and he charged forward as fast as possible through the water, his gaze searching the water - wide and flooded with concern. Had he killed her?! Had their encounter been the last one!? No - no! He'd been just about to howl out for some kind of divine intervention or help when she burst from the water in a somewhat humorous and yet glorious display of saturated fur. He starred at first - wide eyed and sighing in relief - before his features curled up into a jesting smile. Then, he laughed - loud and whole hearted as he paddled away.

"Oh darling, you can try to get me back all you like but I have no problem with looking like a waterlogged rat," he laughed, stopping when he reached the knee high water and watching her with a waving tail. At least they both looked like fools now though, right? "You nearly gave me a heart attack, Bel. But don't worry - I won't tell anybody of the time the great Trenus Warrior fell victim to the water."

He waited for her to emerge before he shook his pelt out - instantly, it puffed out as if it had suddenly been returned to puppy fur and he grinned sheepishly once more. Sadly, it took some time for a wet wolf to regain a regal look. Sitting, he remained with the water at his elbows, his head tilted as he watched her. It really had been so long and yet, he felt so at home about her; she'd always been one of the kindest wolves of Trenus. Even as a Warrior, she had such a gentle soul.

"How have you been anyway, Belinda? It's been so long - fill an old friend in, eh?" he queried, finally bowing his head in a silent greeting. Respect could never come too late, right?
