Looks like I hit a nerve. That's a good thing. My post was not directed at you. It was directed at those who come on here and complain yet refuse to belong to the Assoc. It's bad enough that a majority of those that got the multiplier refuse to have anything to do with the Assoc, people that I worked with for 20 years, and I applaud you for being a member. I hate the division that has occurred. I thought we were long past that yet the animosity continues and I just don't understand it. I shut down the Retirees FACEBOOK page after I got tired of seeing pictures of newer Retirees having 'lunches' together that would never come to the Assoc lunches or meetings.
Yet people such as Mr Urbutiet and others, use this message board as their personal platform. This message board is not owned by the Assoc. It's owned by Jerry Wotherspoon, a Retiree who uses his own time and money to keep it going. If it was up to me, I wouldn't let any non-member on here. But then there wouldn't be anybody posting anything.
Maybe I worded my comment incorrectly as to the hiding behind the keyboard. I didn't mean that people were posting anonymously. You can't do that on here. I just meant that someone will post/complain on here yet refuse to join the Assoc, which is a major pet peeve of mine and should be yours as well. Replies:
