At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Girls, sorry, I'm taken. I love my Magic, and never could abandon her. My family, well, i don't know what's happened to them. But I sure do miss them. Diani was my one sister's name. She understood me quite well. My mom's was Ferai and my father's was Kiloko. I miss them.

I laughed when I scared Magic once again, smiling. My mismatched orbs stared into hers, a smile spreading on my face. When she said she missed me, I smiled brighter.

When I was settled on the earth next to her, she spoke again. "I agree. We haven't, and this night is the best night to do so." I nuzzled her and then rested my head on her neck.

The slience scared me a bit, and when iI was least expecting it, she broke it. I jumped suddenly, and listened. The last couple of weeks I've been all down because I didn't see you.... I licked her cheek. "But now I'm here with you and I'm back to normal." I gave a smile and said, "And the hunting was great! We were successful too."

I wrapped my maw around my toy. "Here, you try." I said, tossing the toy onto her front paws. Thered bone would be my favorite. Always, but not more than Magic.
