Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Return to Lunar Children

There was a very short amount of silence after Apache muttered to himself, and when some stranger was offering assistance. The random voice startled Apache, who did not see the other wolf coming. He twirled around to meet him, and there was a wolf, standing right there. How the wolf got so close to Apache without being detected sort of frightened Apache, making him feel that he could be ambushed any second by a wolf with much more sinister intentions. Apache was initially surprised and defensive, however, seeing the seemingly innocent expression the wolf was making caused Apache to lower his guard. He couldn't immediately trust this wolf completely, however. Apache still did not understand the culture of these wolves totally, but he thought that there must be some similarities, like how a smile is good. This thought helped Apache get into the mindset that the wolf's intentions were not bad.

Uh... yes. That would be most helpful. Apache responded. Taking help from a stranger... what am I thinking? Apache thought to himself. From what he knew, this stranger may lead him into a trap, like deeper into the cave, or into a secret pack located in the caverns, where they would cannibalize him like monsters, or even bring him to an ambush point and try to kill him. But what choice do I even have?

What followed was a short moment of silence, allowing Apache to listen to the soothing sounds of the cave, probably the last soothing sounds before his inevitable murder (or his inevitable leading out of a cave, whichever one is most likely).
