She had never doubted his ability to do so - to leap up and over the stones where she had! How could he fail? He had been successful in darting about with her and keeping up. Would he like what she was to show him, though? Would he, too, grow to love the strange landscape that was Spirane? She would continue to hope so even if he chose to leave - she would hope he would reconsider and return one day. Friends were important and though she knew she could have friends outside of Spirane, where was the true joy in that? A friend from her own pack meant they could leave for adventures together, travel together and return as one.

She watched him anxiously as he looked about, her eyes wide in hope - despite his grin, who knew what he truly thought? Time went on and on for what seemed like forever before he spoke; excitable and sincere - words that made her features erupt once more into a broad, livid grin. It was then that the form of Orba - Moonglow's bird companion - fluttered down onto them to which Calista responded to with a playful leap, her paws reaching up at the white raven. It was one thing, and when she landed, she flashed him a wry grin.

"White raven Orba - she is Moonglow's, yes, so staying you shall be!" she yipped before spinning to face behind them; as she did so, the figure of Moonglow came into view. She moved with almost ghost-like grace as she slipped closer to them; Calista bowed low for a moment before rising.

"Yes, friend! He is great runner, like I, and a most good climber though he is not of the rocks but of the forests," she nodded, flashing Lynk another smile and wiggling once with excitement. Moonglow's presence had always excited her - she was everything Calista wanted to be - and yet, now her friend's future depended upon her. The Queen, after all, could ultimately do as she wished; she could throw them both out if she so desired. Of course, Calista doubted such a thing would happen - why should it? They were a sanctuary. A land of peace for all.

She motioned then to Lynk, a silent gesture - answer her, tell her of yourself. He had her full support and stood beside him. If Moonglow needed a reason for the boy to stay, then Calista would find one.
