There is no place she would rather be than with Weylin. He is everything she could want. And when she closes her eyes she swears she can almost see all the things he has been for her.

It was this way when they first met. The memory, another from the past and the true depths of it lost in the murky recesses of her mind until they met again, had been shocking in clarity when they finally had met again. Looking into his eyes for a second time over the buffalo, ready to defend her prize and dinner from any who would try to steal from her and Levi, she had been instantly transported into the past. She wasn’t prone to crying, even if memories had been evoking them a bit more in recent times, but when she saw him again her eyes watered up and it felt as if her body had released a breathe she’d been holding for years.

It is like that every time she sees him. As if she cannot ever truly be at ease without him there besides her. They say it wasn’t always like this. That there was a time before when the ties that held them were looser – at least for the females. But she doesn’t remember this all she knows is that without Weylin there is something missing and with him her world is brighter. And the world being bright is something she enjoys very much.

Today when she awoke her world was dark. The sun was still blue the grass still green and the sun still blazing overhead. But she wanted Weylin. She wanted to spend time with him. She needed to spend time with him. With this in mind she leaves her island. The wonderful island her king gifted her to watch over. She looks back at it lovingly as she makes her way back to Gloralls mainland in search of her other half.

A strange scent from the borders grabs her attention as she makes her way deeper in the land and Selene heads towards it, her body dancing nimbly through the forests, curiosity piqued as to what they could want. Weylins scent overwhelms the strangers when she gets closer - her kings fragrance bringing a smile to her lips – she should have known he would be here. Her patchwork frame arrives just as the end of Weylins speech – just in time to hear him ask what he could do for the father of Diveens King. Gliding up next to Weylins dark frame Selene moves next to him unable to keep herself from brushing her haunches against him in greeting. Obsidian and gold lips rise to smile at the older wolf but Selene keeps her silence not wanting to interrupt whatever it was Weylin had been asking him.
