Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

but I won't let this world wipe me out

Fear seemed to have eluded him but she was not surprised; she approached light footed and without fear of her own. Of course she had been a little taken aback considering the fact that she had wanted him to be afraid of her; she had wanted to see a glimmer of uncertainty in his gaze as she had in the boy Amir's. She had learned to play and feed off of other's insecurities - she had been taught to do so and she had began to master it. Soon, she would find each and every fear of concern of the male's and she would bend and break them to her will; was he afraid of losing his remaining children? She would lure them to her - a friendly ruse - and let him know one thing. She wore masks. She would lure his children to her, gain their trust so that when she called them to their deaths - they would come. His mate? Malina would seek her out and do what Amir had failed to do; each and every weakness would be uncovered and destroyed. All he needed to do to initiate such destruction was to give her what she wanted - proof.

Obliged to a fair trial, she had to play nice - or as nice as she could be. After all, she'd never been one to make friends or at least maintain friendships. Cayen had been the closest she'd ever really gotten and, well, he was not only gone but he'd also been competition. When the crunch had come, she'd been more than prepared to obliterate him with the rest of the competition. It just so happened that the star that had fallen had taken that away from her - but it hadn't taken Vague, or Ruvindra it seemed. Ruvindra was another matter altogether. Heyel had tended to her and had come to a temporary absolve with her; she was free for now. But Vague? He was still under question and would be until she was satisfied with the information she could procure.

She laughed at his question momentarily - a second or two of joyous, girlish laughter before she composed herself.

"What am I doing out here, you ask? I am bound by nothing; I am able to move freely and without question. As for you, your movements are not so free," she winked along with her grin, a not to subtle hint at the way in which Vague was followed. Surely he knew he would come under such scrutiny; to abandon Heyel in itself was to gain some interest from his operatives. Her brows raised expectantly, head tilted as she awaited some kind of response. Would the idea of being followed surprise him, or had she been correct in her assumptions? She imagined they expected her out of guilt.

"Yes, I imagine running a pack must be difficult with so few years experience. After all, to go from being disgraced to revered must have been quite a leap for you," again, a deceivingly warmhearted grin tugged up at her lips as her tail flicked out behind her. She remained standing, her lithe body towering over him - she'd never noticed how small he was when she was younger. Broad and hefty but so... small. She should have found a new recruit to send after him rather than wasting her time with one who posed so little of a thread. Bah - it was ridiculous to imagine he was even capable of murder! Still, she waited as patiently as possible - it was his remark of Amir that captivated her attention. At first, she rolled her eyes and sighed heavily, gazing away momentarily before swinging her head back to face him as dramatically as possible.

"How long has it been and you still chase a boy you have failed to kill so many times, Vague? Is it not time to give up? You have much too much to lose, correct? Children, a mate... a pack..." she trailed off, a smirk consuming her features as she leaned in an inch or two closer, "Why risk losing all that over a mere boy? A bastard as you call him. Does it make you nervous to know he is protected by so many? That they have perhaps turned on you but not him?"

Again, her tail lashed out before she lowered herself to her haunches; out of habit, her brush-like tail looped over her dainty paws as she continued to watch down on him with that crooked smile. It was a well accounted for fact that his mate, Ruvindra, fell short when it came to composure; she was quickly angered and quickly exhausted when pressured. How long could Vague survive? How long could he keep the lid on his temper so tightly? So many subtle and not so subtle jests would surely crawl and borrow under his skin in time, yes? When they did, she could only hope he would be ripe for the picking and each and every morsel of delicious information would be hers to devour. Again, she chuckled as she sat, gaze fixated upon him though lazy as it were. It required little effort.

"So while we're on the topic of you, let's discuss your hobbies, yes? Do you often go hunting with Jaidah or Fatality? Which do you prefer? To eat your own kind alive or to skin them as Jaidah once skinned you?" she asked, her head tilted once more and eyes widened, blinking slowly as her smile continued to loiter. On and on she would press until he either caved in or exploded; she would discover something one way or another.
