At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Laziness comes from Idleness (open)

Trees rustled overhead as a mottled black and grey wolfess made her way carefully through the growth of the forest. She wasn’t the most attractive wolf, but she wasn’t ugly either; she was often described as average. Birds sang overhead flitting from branch to branch, and the wolf’s soft golden eyes turned up to study a finch, wondering what the bird was singing about. “Are they singing of joy or sadness?” She mumbled to herself, lost in thought. After moments of idle thinking, the fae shook her head. “It’s so easy to get lazy minded here!” She exclaimed out loud, hoping that hearing the sound of her voice would bring her back to reality. She set herself at a quicker pace, trying to chase away the fog in her mind.

She stopped at a river produced by a waterfall and her black ears flicked forward at the relaxing sound of the water running. ‘So many wolves here must get really lazy’, she thought wanting to laugh, ‘Everything is just so beautiful today.’ She set down next to the river side, only a few feet from the rocky waterfall that resembled stepping stones and peered down into the water, watching little fish swim, fighting the current. Her shoulders drooped. “I’m bored.” She mumbled. Several possibilities of activities filtered through her mind, but none seemed appeasing to her. ‘Maybe I should just let my thoughts waste away here, staring idly into the water’ she thought dryly.

Her eyes unfocused from the fish, and focused on the rippled reflection of herself. Her black and grey face stared back at her, and she sighed. She didn’t dislike her appearance, but she admired the sleek beauty and form that many different wolves had- qualities that she lacked. She laid down, stretching her nose out to where it rested next to the water edge.
