During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

i love you...

It echoed, over and over again in her mind, with her heart not to be still for even a moment.

It hadn't been the way she was brought up, but what she was taught to live her life by and what not to. She had grown knowing nothing of this emotion 'love' nor the meaning of friends.

Allies, surely they were 'friends', but this... love thing was different. Odd.

It was a concoction of faster beats of the heart, blood rushing through parts of the body known to be cold, and most of all... the aching of ones bossom.

It hurt to see him like this. To walk away without a smirk or a simple chuckle and a smart answer in reply.
Alleria was aching inside. She wanted him. It was wrong to think this way, she knew, but it didn't change that warm pain building within her core.

The shadowy brute began to pad away even further from where he last was. His footfalls became hesitant as her lyrics reached his auds.

He was laying down now. His body resting beside the river and its rocks crunching beneath his weight. It was the tiniest sound she could make out, and it was his voice.
Serris had said something, but she couldn't comprehend them as clearly as she normally would.

With this in mind, her paws began to move her body forward, in hopes she could get close enough to speak to him.

Was he angry?
Disappointed?

She didn't know. He was a mystery, in her eyes. A dark... dark... mystery.
And she loved it.
