Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

pandora

now pandora has rarely experienced anything with the more brusque gender; she has always preferred solitude to the loud manner of the pack she had once called family. and of course there was he. oh how dearly she despised the rough, abusive male who was cloaked in a deceptive white. and of course, this made her part of the shy, fearful gal that stood before the handsome, nay, glorious creature was stood on ebon pillars before her. he was a rarity in himself, for a kalak is rare to find drifting about, and he happened to enhance the beauty that was already known by the breed themselves. long ebony pillars, blood shaded coat, the triangles hidden under his emerald lookers. they sent shivers down the girl’s spine just glancing up at him. as his lyrics drift through the indigo night her eyes flash up to meet his emerald eyes, wide with surprise. pretty? her name? she began to stutter out her soprano lyrics. ”oh, m-m-my m-mother named m-me after o-o-our first al-al-alphaess.” her lyrics were sweet, soothing even with their cool, shy stuttering soprano. she watched him through hooded eyes, careful not to make too much eye-contact; females were submissive creatures, it had been pounded into her head since she was a mere babe, from the time her audits opened until the time the pack was destroyed when the humans began to cut down the forest, though when they couldn’t find much of anything worth produce, they simply burned it. as he crept towards her, ears lowered and eyes downcast she drifted forward, her heart leading her forward towards this beautiful creature, named axel, whom she wanted nothing more than to touch, to feel her crimson cloak melt into his with the ease that came with familiarity. it was a bond that she wished more than anything to have with him, and yet she restrained herself from going any closer; it would not do to become attached when he must have a girl waiting for him back at whichever place he called home.

as his next lyrics, sweet as the sugarcane her family had chewed during the summer months back in her homelands, drifted towards her she can’t help the pleased, and very shy, smile that spreads across her palette. ”privileged? oh no, you can’t be talking to me? no one’s ever wanted to talk to me before.” she spoke, her soprano barely mucked by the faintly Hispanic burr she had claimed during the time when her family had gathered in a generally Hispanic area. but she listened silently as he spoke once more, though her eyes widened with shock as his question fell on her upward turned ears. a blush darkened her cheeks and she blinked rapidly, her head tilted with confusion. why did he think such a unattractive ess such as herself would have a companion to love her? oh no, never! she watched him move in a nervous dance she had often times found herself doing. the naïve girl shook her head rapidly. ”oh me? never, no. i have no partner, unless my father has arranged something, though i hardly think he has done so; after all who is there to love the likes of myself?” she spoke rapidly, self hate drowning all the positive she could have possibly put into her softly spoken lyrics. she was not a lovable creature; she was hideous, she was anti-social, she was stupid. or that’s what she had been told since the time she could toddle around on her chubby pup legs. she was just a girl, something to be treated as property, not cherished as a gift from Tor herself. she was simply there to be a doll, a plaything to show off. she was there to reproduce, the grace the earth with the gender her family thought best; male. but she was a naïve thing, never daring to stand away from the pack as her eldest sister had done. she was not brave enough to defy her father, to face death. and yet, she was, though she did not know. she had escaped, hadn’t she? why yes, she had. her sister had come for her, come and saved her, though in retrospect, she had also abandoned her as well so that didn’t quite count, did it?

she was like a little bud or bird, waiting for its chance to be nurtured into a beautiful blossom or taught how to fly. her wings were bright as snow, a bit dirty from her rocky start perhaps, but still they reflected the pure soul buried inside the crimson and black lass who stood in the indigo night, staring at axel with dark eyes marred with things she shouldn’t have witnessed. she knew not what to name the fluttery feeling that shocked through her every time he met her eyes with those breathtaking emerald orbits, she knew not what to name the swooping in her gut. but she knew he was a special soul, who required love and care, who simply needed someone to love him. and as marred as her history was, she would be the one to do that for him, in her shy, sweet natured way that could only come with the kalak that stood before him.

and just as his black wings were meant for her,
her white ones were meant for him.
