Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

silent, she comes through the night - desiring a silver light

Fear was no longer one of the colors inside of Persephone's head. Her caution and wariness even leaked away, exposing pure curiosity and something else underneath... excitement and wonderment, though she could not for the life of her figure out why. While she was staring right into a face that she did not recognize, she still felt as though she were meeting the ghost of something that had once meant something to her. Normally, such an inability to understand would frustrate and then anger the dragonling, but the equally wide-eyed gaze of the other pup kept her at bay.

The fact that Leviathan seemed to echo her very inner state right then drew her in. She seemed just as baffled, just as intrigued. There had to be a reason, Persephone felt, because two people did not just meet and suddenly act as though they had finally encountered that person on the other side of the mirror. Well, perhaps imprints did that, but seeing as they were both female, Persephone was pretty certain that was not the case.

Like a dream, she said, and Persephone was inclined to agree.

When she spoke her name, the sour feeling in Persephone's stomach boiled and clenched as if trying to tell her something and it only let go when she remembered each name. Persephone, Odin, Athena... and Leviathan. Just as her mother had told them to her when she had become so curious and asked, despite knowing the pain it brought the old, blind wolfess. The pit of her stomach released and in a single blink, her eyes almost seemed to explode with silver and the searing green rim around her irises becoming more prominent.

She called her Sephy. She could barely hear it, and she had to pivot her large, dark ears forward to catch it... but she knew what she heard.

"L... Levi?" Persephone stuttered, an uncertain sound that rarely crossed her lips and would later upon reflection cause her to grimace. "Are you actually Levi... Leviathan?" She had to question it, of course, because the young dragonling was not one who liked to assume things... however, the pounding of her heart was just pleading for her to run up and get a good whiff of the pup she used to know, to feel her fur. "You're... not dead. I thought you were all dead. Our brother and sister... our... father... Our father. Are you really my sister?"

( Omg, I fail at hiatus. I don't post forever, finally decide on an official hiatus... and then I go and post. :| )
