Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

these people keep to themselves,

You know, she liked him. She'd give him that much, at least. Sure, he wasn't so fun to play games with but at least he wasn't as vapid and spineless as most of the other wolves she'd encountered. It seemed their games were long over, his chuckle defining the end of it and her petite shoulders shrugging up nonchalantly. Don't worry, Apache, in no time at all the games would begin all over again. If he was lucky, he'd give her a good enough offer to stifle that for the time being. Despite her flaws, she did believe herself to be useful in some regards. After all, she had learnt some of the healing art from her mother - not to mention some general survival skills (read: spying and thievery).

"A new pack, huh?" she chuckled, her brow raising up over her features in mild humor as she turned to face him, continuing to bounce along at an even pace, "Will you be leading this new pack? Have you a land for us at all?"

Perhaps her questions seemed brash but... there was hope in her voice; hope that they had rediscovered Litherum, or some far off beach she could call a home. It was shallow, her hope, but it was there nonetheless. The offer was an intriguing one, anyway. She'd considered packs her whole life but she'd never settled for one - why? Simple. They never asked her. Nope, she did not want to be the one who approached and begged for a home - no, she wanted them to want her. Probably why she stuck close to Apache in that moment, her gaze finding his and fixating in on it - he was asking her. He was recruiting and wanting her to be, in some small way, a useful member of society (the member of society part probably wouldn't happen, though.)

"I'm not exactly the most peaceful being if you must know. Don't have a problem with stealing, sneaking about and generally be a pain," she again shrugged, her face breaking into a toothy grin, "But if you can find use for my set of skills then go for it. You've got me on board - figure I shouldn't turn down a chance for free food and board, huh?"
