Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

I blinked, awaiting the regular shock and awe usually given to follow my presence, evidently however, this black fellow was deaf- his figure remaining motionless and even board seeming, an impossibility when it comes to myself, as he seemed to stare off into the distance before proceeding to salivate over his own foot. Evidently being deaf had made him simple. Honestly I had always understood my Fathers speeches about loners and there inadequacy, after all, they do come from lesser breeding them most pack wolves and yet I had always assumed, lesser or not- that they did maintain some intelligence in their stock. After all, this fellow was obviously new to Moladion, his pelt carrying foreign scents and indeed I had assumed that he simply didn’t know the danger he was in, this explaining why he walked about in the late evening. Evidently I was wrong. He was a damn fool in every sense of the word, a simpleton an idiot, deaf and damn and honestly I am fairly sure the horror showed on my face as I looked upon him, lip quirking in disdain and derision as he drooled on his foot. He was surely beyond my help, hell, maybe he deserved to be eaten, such wolves should not be allowed to reproduce. I parted my lips, about to attempt to offer a much more simplified and slower version of my earlier smooth lyrics when the thing actually managed to speak, surprise registering on my features, eyes of lilac and blue opalescent widening slightly as my glowing ethereal form sat towering above his own. He was a fair size for a male, really, though his brain was evidently smaller then his head size implied. I raised one eye, smirk flicking back onto my lips.

"Why wouldn’t I think highly of myself? I am of The Angels, Prince of my Pack, a success in my career, exceptionally good looking and of the most powerful pack and family in Moladion. You’d think highly of yourself to, don’t be modest about it, life’s to short. As for directing you, it is my job to do so. You don’t have to listen because quite honestly I don’t care, so ignore me if you want, I am merely letting you know the facts and the fact is, when the sun goes down out here in the west, loners die."

I flashed another smirk in his direction, teasing, agitating him because truly he seemed the type to be easily agitated and I am a little board, without Demons to slay I feel my talents are somewhat wasted patrolling. Malina or Ava could have the next shift, I was done with these ingrates. My words were true enough however, I didn’t care if he got himself eaten, it meant nothing to me and indeed, perhaps the scent of the Demon could be tracked from his mauled remains. Evidently, this fellow didn’t particularly care either, his words cool and indifferent. I rolled my eyes easily, honestly he reminded me of Heyel on a bad day. I sighed, loudly, as if to express my own boredom with a tireless fool who didn’t want to listen.

"It isn’t hearsay, you clearly haven’t been here long or you’ve just been lucky, if you believe that, so take it from someone born here. You linger to long in the west, or in Iromar and you well get your ugly black pelt chewed on and I’d say I’m sorry you have no family, but frankly I’m tired of seeing wolves mourning those long since dead. It happened, the sky fell- move on. "

I snapped towards him, voice taking on a little more edge. I’d lost my two of my infant brothers, my eldest sister....and my Mother, my world and you didn’t see me still crying about it. The wolves of Moladion had become weak and fractured. The sooner a new generation, one untouched by tragedy was born, the better. I remained where I sat gaze level and pointed, evidently frustrated with the black male and yet clearly finding humour in his simpleness all the same. Why was he being so belligerent, I was having his damn life and he was content to be...grumpy about it. He couldn’t be that old, could he? The oldest wolf to survive the sky fall was now 15 and even he wasn’t this snarky. He spoke again and really I think he was trying to be funny but it is hard to tell, those old wolves are never particularly entertaining, I merely scowled as he spoke before shrugging once more.

"I don’t find you strange, I find you unintelligent and as stated before I can’t make you listen I can merely you warn you. I am an Angel like I said, that’s kinda my job to talk to the strange, stupid wolves, so consider yourself warned. As for packs, well, Iromar is full of cannibals, they tend to eat each other. Spirane is a mountain, the Alphess is attractive though, Glorall is very....wet all the time and mostly made of young and talkative wolves and Diveen is the largest and most successful pack, it is also for the exceptional amongst us."

There, now he was a little more educated. See? I could be perfectly angelic and help the less fortunate by offering them free education. I lifted myself to my paws, toned hard muscle and long limbs raising upward.

"So, are you going to stay here or do you want directions to a Pack?"
