During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The Way of the Warrior

The snowy brute’s twin towers swiveled, hearing the approach of Serris right before he felt Serris’ plume upon his flank. His Alpha’s maw neared Aindreas, and Aindreas listened to his words, understanding their meaning. The brute lowered his gaze and head in greeting, and backed up a few steps, giving Serris full view and full contact with the fae that still lay bleeding upon the ground. “Yes, M’lord Serris.” As his long legs moved backward, Aindreas opened his maw again to address the lupine, and to give a full report as to the little femme. “My lord, I was travelling your terra to memorize the land and came upon her scent. It drew me here, and it is here that I have stayed, not wanting to leave any lupine near your boundary unattended, even though she is but a pup. Her name is Soranna and claims to not know why she is here. ” Aindreas fell silent, knowing that if Serris had any more questions about the stranger, that he would ask the fae herself.

For a brief moment of time, Aindreas wondered if he had done right by staying with the young pup – he had no ranking and therefore had no right to greet strangers to the land. However, that idea lasted but a moment. He had promised his fealty to Serris, and that included protecting the packlands. His spirit had driven him to follow the scent, and his soul had no qualms about it. He would gladly patrol the boundary of the land and prevent any intruders from entering until his lord gave them leave to do so. Should Serris be upset with his actions, Aindreas would gladly take the punishment, but he felt he had done right. The terra had a large boundary, and although clearly marked, he knew that there would be some lupines stupid enough to try to cross unannounced. Aindreas would be there to stop them. He would protect his lord’s honor and his lord’s pack and his lord’s land. It was the way of the warrior.

His focus shifted to the present, to Serris and the fae before him. Although he continued to wonder what the outcome would be for little Soranna, he would not intercede on her behalf should Serris choose to kill her. He was a bloodthirsty leader, but Aindreas only admired the strength within him. That was why he had not only wished to be in this pack, but had essentially promised his life to Serris. Although… he did felt a slight tug at his heart at the thought of the youngling dying. Aindreas had gotten his own second chance at life within these packlands and had reborn here years ago, and he had come out a strong young wolf. Should this fae be given a second chance at life? Would Serris allow her to stay if she refused to leave? Who would watch over her and protect her while she grew? Would Aindreas play father to her as the grey brute Kalgalath had played father to him? Slowly, Aindreas pushed back the voices in his head. If the fae survived her encounter with Serris, if she was allowed to reside her, he would allow such questions to return. Until then, only one question was allowed to stay, and it remained silent inside of his cranium. Ever the warrior, the snowy white brute remained still and silent, his muscles tensed for action if need be. What orders do you wish upon me, My Lord Serris…
