Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Earthen toned ears flicker against the startling barks and Sevens brown skull pulls from the water - fish in tow. Dark jaws part and the fish is released without so much as a second thought as his mismatched eyes, one dark green and one yellow with a splinter of orange, meet those of the female who had called to him. The fish escapes as it plops into the water but the boy can't be bothered to take his eyes from the girl. She is beautiful, perfect - he wants to touch her, to feel her fur against his. And indeed one dark brown paw even raises so he can move closer before he finally realizes.

It dawns on him as he imagines their future together that this is strange. And once that line of thinking begins it is only to obvious to the boy what has happened. Fighting the urge to get closer to her he swivels to face her and backs a way a terrified yet completely adoring look in his eyes as he stares at her. "Paaan!" The straggled cry for his brother is released as he reverses himself from her - as if mere space could change things. His heart might be infatuated but his mind knew the truth. He could remember the fear an hatred of the bond when spoken of by some. He could remember Bedwyrs pain, Finley's unrequited love. He didn't want that.

Pushing himself backwards through the reed choked waters Seven manages but a few steps before gangly limbs intertwine themselves and send him careening down into the water on his rump. Flooding with embarrassment the boy pulls his bewildered eyes from her - finally - to stare dejectedly into the water. That had went well.

No matter how humiliated he was the urge to look at the angel in front of him was to much and before he can stop himself Seven - still sitting in the water - peeks up at his new imprint with his muzzle still downcast to the water. "I am not as stupid as I most likely appear to be at this moment in time." He drops his eyes again, this time is shyness to hide to awe filled gaze he knows he must have when he looks at her. "I ... Ah... You just sort of surprised me. I didn't think I would..." Green and yellow, splintered orange, eyes land on her suddenly, their depths flaring. What if she didn't know? What if she didn't like him?
