Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

“Please, ladies, I do insist we make some form of haste else it will be the depth of winter before we have even managed to exit the border.”

The gorgeous golden male spoke, with some mild irritation, towards the dens before him, waiting for both Everchime and Selene to emerge from in their respective places of sleep. He had planned for this expedition some months earlier, upon meeting Everchime within the Outer Crater and yet, through way of chance and conversation, he had invited Selene along as well for the simple fact that the girl had seemed....down of late and really, though Pan is not entirely convinced that it is his position to comfort his Brother’s soulmate, given that she is not his direct Mate, he feels he has crossed no boundary in that regard and perhaps some unusual part of himself, a part often left unexplored for sheer fickleness and lack of scientific proof- he is somewhat annoyed with Weylin for allowing his female to be unhappy. It is, scientifically proven, that a male is required to assure the protection and peace of mind of his mate, along with her happiness, while she in turn, provides him with offspring of his blood and assists in all decisions to be made regarding the family. This way of being has been deduced by the golden child, who indeed, has spent a rather significant time in the study of such things. He has also spent a large portion of his young existence upon the outside of such families and such a position, though unfortunate maybe, had allowed him to learn a great deal about structure. He has not asked what went on between his Brother and Selene and he will not, for his mind doe not function in matters emotional turmoil, he had invited her simply because he enjoyed her company and he felt he owed her, in a way, for crossing his bridge.

Everchime, on the other hand- had been his planned companion for some months now, striking black eyes turned towards her den with expectancy. He had held off their journey until the change of season to allow all packs to settle within themselves and better prepare themselves for the visit of strangers- he had not equated for the rise of Sulan and yet, in his mind they are all the better to leave on this little trip now and wait for the chaos to settle once more. Through no fault of his own, the gorgeous golden child finds significant change- troubling, it creates a nervousness within him that he does not fully understand nor appreciate and for that reason he is choosing to separate himself from it, explore the pack lands and partake of the company of two of the only females he finds himself in comfort of talking to. His tail waved a moment as he danced with childish exuberance from paw to paw, lashing of gold and copper framing the obsidian of his gaze as that gorgeous grin flared and he called into the dens once now.

“Selene! Everchime! Are you ready yet? I think we should go to Diveen first, I have waited countless years to view these Angels for myself and geographically speaking to visit the far pack will allow us to visit the others upon our return and allow for an exceptional pace of travel that may well return us to Glorall within the evening, of course, we could make an entire night of it and camp within the free lands, or even another Pack itself should it prove to be agreeable. Do you like this plan? Are you ready?”
