Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

but I won't let this world wipe me out

Affection and all that lovey dovey kind of stuff was not something she was either used to or very good at; in fact, she felt almost a little uncomfortable beneath the doting gaze of Zeivah. She guessed it made sense though - they had both just seen ghosts and she could not lie and pretend like her heard had not skipped a few beats at the realisation that Zeivah was actually really in front of her. Though she'd never directly been trained by the Queen herself, she'd always looked up to her in her own way; a girl had to be strong to deal with Heyel's obnoxiousness, so Zeivah had always become a beacon of strength in the eyes of a young Malina. Even now, she huffed under her breath in amazement. For somebody to have survived the sky fall was enough, but to truly survive it? To fight through fire and desperation and make it out okay? Well if that was not impressive then Malina did not care to know what was.

Her head tilted at Zeivah's words, her brows furrowing into a frown of confusion - she did not wish to see them right away? Slowly, her gaze ran over the lady's physique once more, nodding in silent observation; she was correct. Though she was able to see Zeivah for who she truly was, she doubted she would be welcomed with such open arms in Diveen - she did not look quite... right. There was still fur missing and they knew Heyel well. He'd probably punish Malina for bringing his mate home looking so out of shape. Slowly she nodded in understanding, though her features gave away just how disgruntled she was about the idea of it all. What if Heyel came across her on his own accord - she'd smell of Malina and hell, she'd never heard the end of it! You didn't bring her back, he'd scream and shout, you are the worst ever. It was hardly an exaggeration.

"You are still a Queen to many, so I am obliged to do you this favor," she sighed, bowing her head low as if once more in the presence of royalty, "I will ensure they neither catch a glimpse nor whiff of you. In return, you must do me a favor..."

She once more met gazes levelly, her lips twitching up into a smirk before she motioned to a cluster of thickets and trees in the distance. It was a slightly difficult area to navigate through; the forest had not completely began afresh and many fallen logs remained present, large rock structures not yet overgrown. Yes, hard to navigate and thus, rarely visited - it had been a haunt of Malina's during one of her hunts though it showed no signs of the demon-kind making their way there. It would be safe.

"Follow me - I shall find you a den where you will not be discovered. I will check on you as often as I can to ensure your scent is not overwhelming and to bring you more substantial meals."

With a flick of her tail, she was off at a slow lope, keeping her pace slow and even enough to ensure Zeivah did not strain herself - Malina had no idea how her inner health had fared during the fires but she figured it would not be the best. It was not too far of a stroll from the lake, close enough that she would have no problem getting water, but it was when they arrived at the beginning of the thickets that it became apparent - it was a twisted network of logs and trees of various heights. With a backwards glance, she motioned into the shade of the thickets before entering, weaving through with delicate ease towards one of the fallen logs; it had been a temporary den constructed by Malina, a large dug out cavern that she had used various times in her travels. She could vouch for it - her construction jobs were always more than acceptable.

"Here," again, she motioned to the den's narrow entrance with her muzzle, "It may need to be widened. The entrance is small to eliminate the possibility of an easy detection, but I assure you the innards are quite spacious. Is this an appropriate residence for the time being? There is small game and the lake nearby, after all."
