Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Her auditories picked up the sound of him approaching before he came into view. The stride of the approaching brute was quick and long, and once she became aware of his advance, it took but a few moments for the brute to be seen. Kahlan tried to hide her astonishment – she was so used to the silence of her brother that she was surprised that the brute could have gotten so close to her without her knowledge. His footfalls were silent, most likely due to the brute’s extensive knowledge of his own terra. Kahlan’s honey orbs saw his slinky white coat through the woods first, and then next she saw his face as he got even closer. The slight scent of blood ran its course through Kahlan’s nares – the Alpha must have been hunting. That would explain his absence for so long. Kahlan remained still, her head lowered and the tip of her tail tucked respectively. She wanted to give a good first impression to this Alpha – her presence reflected not only on her Alphess Moth but on the entire pack that she called home and family. As for the brute’s absence, the femme did not mind at all; she was well aware that Alpha’s were busier than most, having to deal with running the pack, navigating the treacherous treaties with other packs, and worrying about how to survive the coming months. Waiting a few extra moments whilst an Alpha spared some rare free time to hunt? No big deal.

As for his face, it was statuesque. Kahlan felt a chill run down her russet and grey coat – his expression was blank. But his face itself was icy… chilled… and Kahlan wondered if this was the same Alpha that Moth had sent her and Spark to talk to. His plume hovered above his dorsal, showing that he was indeed the alpha, and he certainly carried himself with pride and authority. Kahlan’s plume reached a bit more between her legs, making sure that it was obvious she held no rank in her own pack. When he finally reached the duo, Tamlin spoke, his monologue surprisingly polite. Please forgive my tardiness – I meant you no discourtesy. May I inquire as to what business warriors of Saw Tooth have with Bright Moon? Kahlan’s honey orbs glanced at Spark, but decided to take the initiative with the treaty. The fae dipped her head and allowed a gentle smile to work itself onto her kissers.

Carefully keeping her orbs averted from the Alpha’s, yet focusing her energy upon her, she opened her maw to address him. “ There is no offense done and therefore there is nothing to forgive. This is your pack and your lands, and it is your prerogative to arrive when it suits your schedule, lord. As to our business, please allow me to first introduce us. My name is Kahlan, and this is Spark. We come bearing an offering from our Alphess Moth. The lady Moth is impressed with what you have done since the departure of Satowra and wishes to extend forth to you a treaty of peace. An alliance between Saw Tooth and Bright Moon.” The fae’s maw shut, feeling that her speech was sufficient to express the business that they were here to discuss. The fae raised her eyes to the brute’s own orbs for the first time, feeling that it was now appropriate to do so in order to continue the discussion that was at hand. “What are your thoughts on this matter, lord?
