Decisions, decisions, decisions. There were a lot to be made and not just in that instance alone; with spring approaching, she would be left to watch over the offspring of Aaliyah and Tobias. Of course, Aaliyah did not know such a thing and Malina intended to keep it that way. It would be hard to infiltrate them, however, without consent... what kind of children would take kindly to an unrelated adult hovering over them? No, no, that was why she needed Lucid... perhaps another, too, could come in useful. After all, she had been responsible for the decision of Cayen's fate - was he demon or not? For a year, she had taken him as a friend and though they had concluded that he was innocent, it seemed the sky fall disagreed. Perhaps... perhaps this girl could come in useful. She held herself confidently and did not appear to have many physical faults - she was small, even smaller than Malina had been, but an Assassin's work did not always require brute strength. Her eyes narrowed in thought as she once more looked over the female; she appeared as Angel which could work against her, however. Many wolves had become accustomed to the cinnamon and white brand - then again, it could work to her advantage too. It would be easy to sway the newborns that she was blood.
Then, her brow slid up in mild interest, her ears fluttering forward once more as she caught the girl's words. Wolves, huh? Certainly she spoke of the same demons Malina had expected - it seemed they prospered outside of Moladion, too, and in numbers. Would they come to Moladion? Would they follow the small girl? It seemed that they had not come yet - many wouldn't, Malina knew, for word spread fast of Diveen's hoard of assassins. She was always interested in information. Where they were, what they really looked like... everything. Unfortunately, the thickets in the dead of night was hardly the appropriate place or time to discuss such matters. No, the girl would have to return to Diveen - if she was followed, it would mean her followers would quickly be dispatched, too. A win-win situation, no?
"Yes, I know of these daemones," she nodded, taking initiative as she moved forward; in a fluid movement, she circled around the girl, brushing her scent along her in an effort to mask her foreign smell, "Aerith. I am Paulo Vafer."
Her given name, a name chosen by Heyel the day of her Apprenticeship - perhaps in time, this Aerith would gain her own but for now, there were other matters to tend to. First and foremost, the girl's safety and wellbeing. Coming to stand before the girl, she faced out in the direction in which she had approached - the direction in which Diveen was situated. It was at least a quarter of a night's journey given Malina's knowledge of short cuts and judging by the girl's size, she'd be easy to pick up if needed. With a court nod, she motioned forward.
"Come, I will take you to a safe den," she began before slowing she begun forward, "I am of Diveen; and we are those that dispose of the demons."
