aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

The Impossible

Chiron and King Kong he met next, and they seemed nice as well. "It's nice to meet you both." A smile crossed his maw as he spoke with his german accent once again. Well, he didn't think there'd be any mean wolves here. He wouldn't of suggested the pack if there were! And now, the sudden change, from wanderer to member. it be even harder if they got the position.

And then a howl reached his ears, but once he found out it wasn't exactly for him, he gave little attention. But soon the wolf came into sight, with Kong's permission. Apparently she was from Saw Tooth, and their alpha sent her to Aurora. He wondered why the lass had to talk to the new alpha for a little while.

But he wasn't expecting Magic to do everyhting for him, and technically didn't. When his mate spoke about volunteering for the alpha position, the ebony bute just smiled a bit, but it was unnoticable.

The other's reactions were not what he expected. They were serious, but not making fun of them in any way. Glitch was happy about this, for they didn't make any bad or offensive comment. Whatever they had thought about it stayed in their heads, which he appreaciated.
And if no one else offered to have the position, there'd be a vote.

It turned out it was Magic and Glitch vs. Kalgalath. He knew that they would have a minimal chance, and it turned out that way. They lost. But it wasn't a big deal, right? all the votes were for Kal, and none for the pair of two. Mistrust maybe?

Congratulations, Kalgalath, He heard, and a smile crossed his face. Glitch knew he was right for the position, but it wouldn't sink in quite right.

" There's no hard feelings at all. Kal, if I ended up voting, I would of voted for you in the first place, for the fact that you have known, and been, in the pack for a while. Plus, you also seem fit for the pack, being the alpha. You're very dedicated, from what I can tell, and you seem like you were born to be one. With your rule, I'm going to stay. Where else would I go? Maybe we can get to know each other better, my dear friend?" At some points, worry dotted his face, especially the end, but other than that he smiled.

Really, down inside him, he was upset Magic and him didn't win, but they'd be there for each other, like Magic just did. He smiled, looking at Magic. Glitch had put his expectations too high for once. Usually, he was realistic, but kept his views on life good.

Life was a honor to have for him. The Impossible became possible to him, to others it stayed impossible. The word was often used when a hard task made someone think it was not realistic and a person wouldn't be able to do it, or someone just said the word when giving up. Well, he thought the word didn't exist, because he already passed those obstacles, with certian disabilites.

OOC: sorry about the long wait, and the crappy long post. It honestly would be better if I was on durning this time and wasn't so busy...and Azura, good luck with having Kal rule the pack!

Though I may wobble, my thoughts are the same like any other wolf's.

"My words mean nothing to some, but to others they are a sign of courage."
