Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.
The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.
Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

AT NIGHT I FEEL LIKE A VAMPIRE
tonight, my head is spinning; I NEED SOMETHING TO PICK ME UP ______________________________________________
Something does occur to him in those moments that he regards her with wary, unforgiving eyes; she might have come across other mutilated corpses just like this one that he'd been the culprit in killing and desecrating. She might see it after this again if she were to live. And at that point she would know what he looked like... would know how to point him out in a crowd. Not things that Covet was very happy about, though it was all about the risks outweighing the problematic issues he'd have to take this female down. There could be quite a few, because Covet hadn't been watching her, stalking her to ensure she was a loner, packless and without ties.
Covet was careful on how he picked his victims. He did not like complications when he hunted and took down his prey. He did not like variables that hadn't been already taken into consideration and planned out on how to be dealt with. This was one of those times where Covet found himself frustrated because something wasn't working out the way he wanted it to. Yet he gave her a way out; he was going to allow her to go for now. Perhaps she wouldn't say a thing and it could all blow over... or maybe she'd tell and it would get back to his parents and he'd have to hunt her down for it. It was a risk he would allow, because right now it outweighed the problems that could come with trying to kill her. She was healthy, and he was already engorged with blood. Not a great combination. He wasn't at the top of his game for this one.
With her words, Covet's eyes narrowed dangerously. Why should he need to answer? His hackles shifted slightly. "He was weak. And no. He did not." He replies lowly, venom still seeping from his tone. Her eyes were a challenge; never wavering from his. This irritated him, it was a reason to force her to her belly if she kept it up. Covet couldn't let such a thing go, even if he felt heavy with blood and unwanting to use the energy it would take. He took a step closer to the female; then another before swiftly reaching out in attempts to close his mouth over her muzzle in a firm grip. If she didn't move, he did not intend to attack further or cause pain by the action. If she held still a moment, then he would release and step away. If she moved... he would attack. Being weak and knowing when to divert a dangerous situation were two very different things.
