Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

CLEAR THE SKIES

The sky was black. Not dark. A solid black. There was no color. The ground was a grossly extreme contrast of pure white. It was nearly blinding.

There was a figure, appearing from the horizon. It was getting bigger, bigger more. It was a huge wolf, towering over Apache, at least 5 times bigger. It was... Mangeur'de'Mondes? The leader of the WPC's army?

Apache, my loyal disciple, Mangeur began, The Center crumbles. Enemies fight with extreme opposition. You can change this. You must convert these people to the cause.

But I can't! I'm not the leader of even a pack! Apache replied.

You needn't be! Mangeur roared, Be a Center wolf! Use your voice. Bring down your superiors by the power of the people. They will lead you to power of the realm. But never loose sight of this. The enemy offers you a false peace, but really it is the peace they will gain, knowing our people shall die. Now go! Mangeur disappeared. The blackness of the sky became white.

Apache awoke, sweating heavily, inside of a small cavern. With a yawn and stretch of legs, Apache rose to his feet. He exited the cave, and once adjusting to light, looked into the sky and saw the sun much too high in the sky. Ah... it is midday, Apache spoke to himself, as his thoughts appeared in his head. An important one passed into his conscience. Sulan was to gain his alpha position today, in the late morning! And Apache was already running.

It wasn't long before he ran all the way to the forests to the pack, with some breather breaks, but he was still very late. The group was already dispersing, and only a few wolves were around, and this included his friends d'Mani and Sulan. His first appearance to his new packmates was hastily running into the clearing in which they spoke in, and then quickly "hitting the breaks" on his running in order not to run into d'Mani.

I'm... sorry... I am... so late... slept in... too long... Apache wheezed, having to take breaths in between almost every word or two.

Apache finally looked around. He may have attracted a lot of attention, and he quickly turned his gaze to Sulan. So... Sulan... you're in... power... good... other... than that... how are... you... and d'Mani...? Apache made sure to look at d'Mani for a moment when saying her name.

OOC: Sorry this is bad. I wrote better versions, but my computer died several times mid-writing, so I ended up quickly writing this.
