Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

BLACK and w h i t e is all I see.

It definitely wasn't every day that she had a situation like this one come up but it wasn't exactly that unpleasant to her. It was just something that she wasn't all too use to. Very easily, it could have been some obvious fact that she would be very exposed to the chance of dying with sadness but she couldn't see it. Not when the dark, the cold and pain seemed so far away. Not when she was perhaps in a place where nothing like that could hurt her. If someone had not soon come over and placed a smooth conversation (the whole person coming in her direction she totally missed) she would have probably went onto another song, one about the stars and in it she would have either sung her self to sleep or have played the swan that died in music. Maybe almost like the Lady of Shalott, who had died in her own song, in a boat that was hers; cocooned and protected. Dying in a way that somehow immortalized her spirit, that broke the boundaries and entitled her trapped hidden soul to live an un-earthern bound eternal existence of freedom.

Not that she was really at all contemplating her own death, but if there were any thoughts of such she could dwindle up that's where they would now be. She thought she had recognized that face that she was greeted with, except she hadn't really communicated why the guy that much. Not meaning to, though she did, she grimaced at his touch, getting snapped back to the gritty picture and situation she was really in. Almost having to repeat his words in her head, as they came back to her a beat delayed. I-- um she um what? Well she really had no idea. What was she doing here? Forgetting the previous physical reasons why she couldn't really get up or get around to anywhere. She seemed to be half up at this time, almost at an odd angle as if she were just about to fall back at any given moment. She was dazed slightly, as she was thinking longly, mournfully for her family. So many questions. How and why did the meteor come? was just one out of many. I know i'm not an angel, I never was, I wasn't born perfect and do mistakes. The angels live above us. Not down here, and i'm not one. I was just..thinking.

It's a silent movie
