The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Stretching long, slender limbs and opening her jaws as wide as possible in a yawn, the crimson and ivory lass gave a kind of whine to go with the posture. Waking up from a nap was never pleasant, especially not when the cause was the cold, fat droplets of a storm that had been brewing for the past few days. Cade had spent the afternoons watching as the dark clouds gathered and increased in size, filling the air with a kind of expectant buzz to go with the dismal surroundings. She had harbored a minimal hope that the rain would hold off a few more hours, but apparently nature had other plans. She'd hardly finished calling her muscles to attention when the sky opened up and began dumping the ocean it had collected on her and the rest of Andere. Muttering to herself that her old home never impolitely soaked her through to the bone, she was heading towards shelter when a call rang out.

Given the downpour, the queen couldn't pick up the scent of the wolves on the border from this distance, be they her own members or some random wolves. Her curiosity piqued despite the deplorable weather, she deftly shifted on her paws to change her course and shuffled off at a lope to find the source of the call. Alabaster ears molded to her skull, her crimson paws splattered in mud as she intentionally pounded through some of the already formed mud puddles. despite being the top of the hierarchy here, Cade had refused to let go of her jovial, and occasionally mischievous, behavior. It made life more interesting to be an unpredictable ruler. During the pack meeting, she had doled out threats one minute and then surprised everyone by reacting to embarrassment with laughter that, after laughing for too long, probably made her seem insane. Her thoughts passed the time it took her to reach the pair of wolves, looking just as saturated as her.

As she approached, she made sure to size them up. It occurred to her that she probably should have called Eric to come with her since she had at least been able to pick up that there were two wolves waiting for her. As a second thought, she let out a high pitched yip in the hopes that perhaps Eric was around and happened to hear her. If he did, great. If not, well, Cade had never been afraid to decorate with the blood of others. Worst comes to worst, the heavy rains would wash away the stains. Closing the gap, Cade slowed her pace and shook out her fur, giving her that total wet dog appearance while being an absolute waste of energy since the rain was still coming down in icy sheets. She cleared her voice as her mismatched gaze instantly settled on the older of the two wolves since he looked more like the one in charge. That's not to say that she dismissed the other's presence, she merely kept tabs on him without speaking directly to him.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of standing in the pouring rain on my borders, gentlemen?"

Needless to say, Cade was not very happy to be meeting wolves she didn't know on her pack borders in the rain. The brow where her crimson coloring flicked just barely over her eye was raised in a questioning look but anyone who bothered to look beyond the outward facade would see the glint of annoyance in her gaze and pick up on the slightly aggressive stance she took up. There were many possible outcomes to this meeting, some great and some, well, someone would be hurting...It all depended on how well they managed to tread water and talk around Cade's bad mood.
