Please excuse this, but it best describes whatever I'm talking about. This week I have seen a large rough legged hawk and a bald eagle to boot, from a school bus! Today good things came in small packages. In the store, from my perch ( my stool ) two feet from the window, I catch the house sparrows, frolicking in the cedar. Out of nowhere, Bam! an American Kestral strikes a pose before me amid utter kaos. In a split second he gives a slightly embarrassed nod to me, for his miss, and is gone.
