Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

How lonely is the night without the howl of the wolf?

It was clear to the ess that whatever subject the lad was trying to bring up, it was an awkward and rather hard one to talk about. After her question the lad had moved his eyes to look out over the terra, before fighting to shift them onto her. The lass smiled calmly, hoping to provide him with some comfort before he began to speak once more. He began his speech by apologising for his failure with words and the lass chuckled softly. He need not ask for forgiveness any more as she had made it perfectly clear she did not care if words did not come to him naturally. She loved him for who he was and if that was part of him, she would love it just as much. He took a deep breath in as if to calm his nerves for what he was about to say next. The vixen kept her eyes pinned to his face, taking in his features and how they expressed his mood. She wanted him to know that no matter what he said, she would not love him any less; nothing could kill her feelings for him. The next statement confused the lass a little ‘would you ever consider ever being my mate?’ Before she had time to enquire about his question he hurried on. His ramblings made it evident that he was really struggling so the femme kept a reassuring smile on her maw, allowing him to nuzzle her and find comfort in her touch. He moved away shortly after before speaking once more.

As the question he had tried so hard to push from his mouth finally entered the atmosphere, the smile on the female’s maw grew until her canines protruded from under her lips. She had been correct with her suspicions. The brute fell quiet shortly after, giving her a chance to speak, but what would her answer be? The words echoed round her mind as she thought of all the things that came with a family. If she were to say yes, it wouldn’t be for a long while as they still had to deal with Terrel. But what if Terrel never forgave Henadin? What if he hated him forever? He wouldn’t, surely? He’d want his mother to be happy, wouldn’t he? So many thoughts whizzed round her head all at once. Henadin without a doubt would make a great dad but what about her? Would she make a good mother? Yes, she had done it with Terrel, but would it be different with her own bundles of joy? Realising she should really give the lad an answer; she sat up right, straightening her posture and turning her cranium towards him.

“Henadin my love, there are so many things that come with having a family. We would have to think about names and a birthing den and many other things in order to give them the best upbringing as physically possible. It will be a long and hard time from mating till they are born and I want to make sure there is nothing that will harm them.” She paused, taking in a breath, her amber orbs searching his body for any signs of what he was thinking. “We will need to make sure that things are okay between us and Terrel before we do anything, but...” The smile that had slightly disappeared grew once again and her voice became higher with excitement. “I would love to bear your young. I would love to be your mate. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. The answer is yes!” With her banner wagging furiously behind her the lass sprung at the lad, wrapping her paws around him in a loving wolf hug before planting a kiss on his muzzle. “I love you.”
