aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Tyson continued to glare with an irritated frown on his face as the large brute spoke again, knowing that he should submit but unable to help himself. Perhaps if he were taught manners he’d be able to restrain his personality in the future, but that was a long way off yet. As it was he would only show respect to those he thought worth it, like Cade who’d allowed him into Andere Seite’s lands. The pup’s mood worsened as the stranger began to lecture him about trespassing. Of course he knew he was on a different pack’s lands and that they had every right to kill him, but he was terribly hungry and on top of his stubborn self he wasn’t thinking straight. He kept his eyes locked on the other wolf’s, though the gaze was icy and obviously one of a high ranking wolf, one who knew he had back up. He wouldn’t need it against such a small ball of fur, but that wasn’t the point the steely look was trying to make.

The last sentences of the speech, however, worked wonders in changing Tyson’s opinion. Kalgalath, he now learnt the male’s name, was the alpha of this territory. The pup didn’t know whether he was lucky or not to have stumbled upon the wolf holding the highest rank here. Kalgalath told him he’d no need to change himself, so long as he respected the alpha’s position. He also promised food so long as the pup could obey those rules. It seemed to Tyson that the adult before him was one of few that actually possessed a smart mind and knew how to handle himself. The young pup wouldn’t mind submitting to someone like this, which he made obvious by finally dropping his gaze to Kalgalath’s paws. A grumble left him, a stubborn frown on his face at giving in but willing to listen to what the other wolf said next.

"Fine," he grumbled as he looked back up, his own eyes sharp but no longer aiming to not submit, "I’m Tyson." His words were clipped but a tired strain behind them gave away his exhaustion, if his appearance hadn’t already clued the alpha in. He remained silent for a couple of seconds before speaking up again, "Can I have food now?" His expression was demanding, but his eyes held a glimmer of hopefulness as he knew he needed something to eat soon. Preferably he needed a pack member to take him under wing, but for now simple nourishment would do.
